I work in a predominantly male industry where women have to work twice as hard to earn the same amount of respect. In doing so, I lost touch with my femininity for a long time. My entertainment job doing backstage work is rewarding but gruelling to the body, with the flip-flop work schedules and lack of personal time. Modeling helps me feel good about myself despite having a body brought to you by lack of sleep and attempted healthy habits. Thanks to the pandemic, I rediscovered modeling and it provides me with a platform to confidently embrace my sensuality and showcase my beauty.

As a first generation Asian American woman, I am expected to follow the ambitious, slender, and meek stereotype provided by my family and culture. Growing up, I've always been loud, large, and everything they abhor. When I discovered the body positivity of pinup, I fell in love with the culture and my own curves. The pinup community has been incredibly supportive, offering a space where I can freely express myself without judgment on my own terms. This empowering experience has not only boosted my self-esteem but also allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate and celebrate the beauty of curvacious femininity.
